The national election will be held as early as possible within the established timeline of December 2025 to June 2026, Law Adviser Dr. Asif Nazrul confirmed on Wednesday. The Prof Yunus-led interim government has secured investment proposals worth Tk3,100 crore during the recently concluded four-day investment summit, which was organized at a cost of just Tk5 crore, BIDA Executive Chairman Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun told reporters on Sunday.
