Reception to CJA leader Osman Gani Mansur

Barking and Dagenham Mayor Moin Qadri accorded a warm reception to Osman Gani Mansur , Secretary General, Bangladesh Chapter of Canada based Commonwealth Journalists Association (CJA) , International Committee EC Member,  Advisor of Chittagong Editors Club and Editor and Publisher of The Daily People’s View .

The reception was held  at the Mayor’s Parlour of the Council on Monday last.

At the event, Dainik Somoy and Manob TV editor, poet and fiction writer Sayed Chowdhury highlighted Osman Gani Monsur’s creative activities.

He stated that Osman Gani Monsur, a committed journalist, works with a sense of service. In addition to his writing, he is actively involved in leading the journalist community.

Through the CJA, he has continued multifaceted efforts to enhance professional excellence among journalists and to promote free thought and human consciousness, he added.

Speakers at the event included journalist and columnist Azizul Ambia, Imran Hossain Chowdhury and Modris Ali of Labour Friends of Bangladesh, and community leaders Abdul Karim and Imranul Gani, among others.

Mayor Moin Qadri sincerely thanked Osman Gani Monsur for bringing such an inspiring and dynamic presence to Barking and Dagenham Council. He also wished him continued success in the way he has spread his humanitarian, welfare-oriented, and socially beneficial work both at home and abroad.

In response, Osman Gani Monsur expressed his appreciation for the Mayor’s open-hearted hospitality. He said, “You are upholding the image of our country here in London through your political and community service.” He also thanked everyone present for taking the time to attend and show their warm support
