The country’s export earnings increased by 24.90% in July, the first month of the 2025-26 fiscal year, thanks to the ready-made garment (RMG) exports, according to data released by the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) on Monday.
The state-run organisation’s data also showed that the exports stood at $4.77 billion, up from $3.81 billion in the same month last year.
In July, RMG exports went up by 24.67% to $3.96 billion, compared to $3.18 billion in the corresponding period last year.
The country’s overall exports stood at $48.28 billion in the 2024-2025 fiscal year.
