Jamaat-e-Islami–nominated Chattogram-10 parliamentary candidate Principal Shamsuzzaman Helaly has said that public love and support are the main driving forces of his political journey, stressing that people-centred development is the only path to sustainable progress.
“If elected, I will work with the highest sincerity and dedication to fulfil the expectations of the people,” Helaly said while speaking to local residents after a door-to-door campaign and public outreach programme in the city’s North Agrabad ward on Sunday .
During the campaign, Helaly highlighted key issues including civic problems, workers’ rights, job creation, education, and strengthening social security.
He said transforming Chattogram-10 into an ideal and model constituency would require the collective participation of workers, youth and ordinary citizens.
Labour Welfare Federation Chattogram city unit vice-president Makbul Ahmed, Ward-24 president Maksudur Alam, NCP leader Tafsir, labour leader Akram, and Jihad were among others present on the occasion. .
