CJA, B leaders pay courtesy call on Adviser Faruk-e-Azam

CJA, B President Parvin F. Chowdhury and Secretary General Osman Gani Mansur paid a courtesy call on the Honorable Adviser to the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, Faruk-e-Azam, Bir Protik, at his ministry office on Tuesday afternoon.

During the meeting, the CJA, B leaders presented the conference kits and a commemorative crest to the Honorable Adviser in recognition of the recently held conference on “Rohingya Issues,” jointly organized by the Ministry and BRAC in partnership with CJA, B in Cox’s Bazar.

The Honorable Adviser highly praised CJA, B for the successful organization of the conference and expressed the opinion that such initiatives would play a far-reaching role in addressing the Rohingya crisis.

It may be mentioned that CJA, B organized a two-day conference titled “Rohingya Emergent Futures: Collective Foresight and Adaptive Action” on November 15–16 at the RRRC Auditorium in Cox’s Bazar. The conference was attended by top-level leaders of major political parties, representatives of the Rohingya community, officials from several national and international NGOs and organizations, as well as more than fifty senior journalists from media outlets across the country.
