Tritorongo, a leading cultural organization in Chattogram has launched its monsoon celebration with children’s art competition as part of the two-day festival titled “Aaj Sraboner Amontrone” at Nasirabad office on Wednesday.
The theme of the competition was “Monsoon and Nature”, where enthusiastic children and teenagers participated.
Osman Gani Monsur, eminent journalist and Chairman of Tritorongo’s 40th Anniversary Celebration Committee inaugurated the event while. Shaon Pantho, Secretary General of the organization presided.
Renowned artists Piyush Chandra Sarkar and Mousumi Rahman Mita served as judges for the competition.
“This kind of initiative will enhance children’s reflective thinking and nurture their creative potential.”, Osman Gani Mansur said as he praised Tritorongo’s longstanding contribution to the cultural landscape of Chattogram.
Shaon Pantho stated that this competition is part of a broader series of programs and extended an open invitation to the public for the main cultural evening to be held tomorrow.
The celebration will end on 30th Shrabon (August 14), featuring performances by Tritorongo and invited artists. Distinguished guests including Anwar Pasha, Poet and Joint Secretary, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Md. Mahfuzul Haque, Director, Bangladesh Betar, Dr. Professor Anwar Saeed, Chairman, Department of Bengali, University of Chattogram, Elizabeth Arifa Mobasshira, Prominent Poet and Fiction Writer, Professor Dr. Imran Bin Yunus, Specialist Physician and Researcher and Principal Mohammad Ali Chowdhury, Educationist are expected to attend.
Besides, notable artists, writers, poets, journalists, organizers, and cultural activists from Chattogram will join, making it a celebration of rain, rhythm, and artistic expression.
