Sangbadik Housing Society reminisces journalist Nizam Uddin Ahmed

A memorial meeting and Doa mahfil for late veteran journalist and FF Nizam Uddin Ahmed, BNA’s founder editor and former general secretary of Chittagong Press Club and Sangbadik Housing Society was held at the organization’s office premises on Friday last.

Sangbadik Housing Society Management Committee organized the event chaired by journalist Advocate Sukhmoy Chakraborty.

General Secretary Mohammad Nowshad Chowdhury moderated the program while Joint Secretary Professor Jibran Alam delivered the welcome speech.

The discussion was attended among others by Daily People’s View editor and publisher Osman Gani Mansur, sr. journalist and freedom fighter Saber Ahmed Azgari, joint convener journalist Shamsul Haque Hydari, former president of the CUJ Mostaq Ahmed, former president of the Sangbadik Housing Cooperative Swapan Kumar Mallick, journalist Sirajul Islam, journalist Shatadal Barua, former treasurer of the Press Club journalist Sirajul Karim Manik, journalist Kamal Uddin Khokon, engineer Mahabur ul Alam, professor Hasanul Karim, Syed Aminul Islam Babul, Mohammad Mostafa Kamal, and the youngest son of the deceased Ahmad Rayyan.
