A major step forward was taken today in establishing a state-of-the-art cardiac hospital in Chattogram as the official land deed for the Chattogram Heart Foundation Hospital was formally handed over.

At a ceremony held this Wednesday at the Chattogram Circuit House, the hospital’s Chief Adviser, Professor Muhammad Yunus, handed over the registered deed for 23 acres of land to the Foundation’s Chairman, Mohammad Abdus Salam.

With this handover, the long-standing demand of Chattogram residents for an international-standard specialized heart hospital is on its way to becoming a reality. The Chattogram Heart Foundation Hospital will be constructed in the South Kattali area under Pahartali Thana.
