The Commonwealth Journalists Association, Bangladesh (CJA-B) has decided to organize a day-long seminar in Chattogram in the third week of October on the theme “Chittagong: The Economic Gateway and Lifeline of Bangladesh.”
The decision was taken at a special meeting of CJA-B held last Saturday evening at Gulshan Club in Dhaka, with CJA-B President Parveen F. Chowdhury in the chair.
Former President Farid Hossain; Vice President Abdul Jalil Bhuiyan; Treasurer Chappal Bashar; Secretary General Osman Gani Mansur; Joint Secretaries Humayun Rashid Chowdhury and Mainul Alam; and Senior Executive Member Julhas Alam attended the meeting.
Other members present include Atifa Anjuman, Faruk Ahmed, Sumaiya Tabassum, Shahnaz Sharmin, Hasan Akbar and Riduanul Haque, among others.
