The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement wants to overhaul the Bangladesh’s overall state functions for ensuring the country would never again have a fascist or dictatorial government, said Nahid Islam, one of the key coordinators of the student front. The system would also ensure that another Sheikh Hasina is not born, Nahid added during an interview given to Channel 24. To this end, the interim government should not have allies or supporters of a fascist regime, Nahid said with veiled reference to the ousted Awami League government.
