Chattogram Port, the country’s prime gateway is undergoing one of the most significant periods of operational and structural change in its recent history, with record cargo handling, new terminal construction, proposed changes in terminal operations and an accelerated drive towards digitalisation reshaping the country’s principal maritime gateway. The port handled a record ‘3.52 million TEUs of containers in fiscal 2025-26’, up 6.76 percent from the previous fiscal year.
