Two ships have arrived at Chattogram Port carrying a total of 38,800 metric tons of rice. The rice has been imported under both government-to-government (G2G) agreements and international tenders. The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has issued arrest warrants for nine individuals, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, in connection with the alleged mass killing at Shapla Chattar on May 5, 2013.
