Sajjad, a notorious criminal wanted in Chattogram, was arrested by police on Saturday night from the Panthapath area in Dhaka. Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) Deputy Commissioner Amirul Islam confirmed the arrest. Sajjad, who became a wanted fugitive after threatening a Chattogram police officer in a Facebook Live video on January 30, has been on the run since.
