The government has increased the price of cowhide by Tk 5 per square feet compared to last year, setting the rate at Tk 60-65 within Dhaka while Tk 55–60 outside Dhaka. Workers from the Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal staged a sit-in protest on Sunday in front of the Chattogram Port building.
