Muhammad Ismail Hossain, former Deputy Director (DDPI) of the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Directorate for Chittagong Division, passed away on Friday morning at his residence in Barishal. He was 103.
He is survived by his wife, seven daughters, three sons, and a large number of relatives and well-wishers.
He was laid to eternal rest at local Bagicha Muslim graveyard. after janaza following Asr prayers on Friday.
Late Ismail Hossain had also served as Deputy Director at Dhaka Holy Family Hospital between 1903 and 1906, before retiring from service.
