LGRD and Co-operatives Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain has said all the sacrificial waste in the capital Dhaka was cleaned in less than 12 hours. He said that a clean city is not just a goal, but a daily responsibility.
Asif Mahmud shared this information in a Facebook post on Saturday night (June 7).
In his post, Asif Mahmud mentioned that an extensive cleanliness campaign was completed in less than 12 hours through the coordinated efforts of Dhaka North and South City Corporations. This is not only a reflection of efficiency and competence but also clear evidence of the responsibility and timely action of the local government dedicated to public welfare.
Thanks to the sense of responsibility among city residents and the tireless efforts of cleaning staff, Dhaka was cleaned in record time. He also expressed love and gratitude toward all colleagues who worked behind the scenes.
He further said that those whose hard work made this city clean are our unsung heroes. “A clean Dhaka in less than 12 hours — this is the power of action, this is the story of dedication. They may not be in the spotlight, but their work defines the city.” He paid deep respect to the real heroes of Eid-ul-Azha.
Earlier, he also stated that the cleanliness drives during Eid-ul-Azha were successfully completed in all city corporations across the country.
