The Chattogram Law Graduates’ Association, an organization of law graduates and apprentice lawyers, from various public and private universities as well as law colleges of Chattogram, has elected its new executive committee for the 2026–2028 term, said a press release.
Advocate Abul Kashem was elected President while Advocate Mizanur Rahman Advocate Md. Saiful Islam, Advocate Amjad Hossain and Advocate Mohammad Shahjahan were elected as Senior Vice President, General Secretary, Senior Joint General Secretary, and Organizing Secretary respectively.
Chief Election Commissioner Syed Mahmudur Rahman Mamun presided over while Election Commissioners Sohel Alam and Mohammad Mizan conducted the election held on Monday night at a restaurant in city’s GEC intersection area.
A five-member partial committee was formed through a secret ballot by members of the standing committee, in line with the association’s constitution.
