The government has officially declared February 25 as “National Martyred Soldiers’ Day.” The announcement was made through a circular issued by the Cabinet Division on Sunday, February 23. We are deeply concerned about the severe congestion at Chattogram port, where a large number of import-laden containers, especially those destined for the Kamalapur Inland Container Depot (ICD) in Dhaka, have accumulated. This issue is reportedly caused by a lack of locomotives operating between the port and Dhaka ICD.
