Anwara–Karnaphuli Oikkyo Parisad begins journey

Professionals and Individuals from diverse sectors unite to promote social harmony, civic engagement, and humanitarian initiatives in the two upazilas of Chattogram.

Anwara–Karnaphuli Oikkyo Parisad, a non-political organization, has started it’s journey through a virtual meeting on Sunday.

The platform brings together over 50 professionals, including retired and serving government officials, as well as individuals from diverse occupational backgrounds.

 The main objectives of the organization are to curb moral decline in society, enhance humanitarian assistance, and advance education in the region, according to organizers..

 “Our primary focus will be encouraging civic engagement to address local issues, supporting underprivileged communities, and involving the youth in constructive activities.”, they said.

Anwara and Karnaphuli share a common river, culture, and socio-economic challenges and making collaborative initiatives is essential for regional development and public service.

A formal committee for the organization is expected to form by December,

Respected members believe that the Anwara–Karnaphuli Oikkyo Parisad will serve as a positive model for social development, peace, and humanitarian service in the region.
