Faruk E Azam, Bir Protik, Honourable Advisor to the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief and the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs, had a courtesy meeting with leaders of the Commonwealth Journalists Association (CJA), Bangladesh on Monday afternoon.
During the discussion, CJA delegation sought the ministry’s cooperation to organize a seminar on the Rohingya refugee situation and the government’s ongoing initiatives.
The Advisor welcomed the proposal and assured full support in this regard.
CJA was represented by President Parveen F. Rahman, Secretary General Osman Gani Monsur, former President Farid Hossain, Treasurer Chapal Bashar, and Executive Members including Mainul Alam and Julhas Alam.
