The 13th Rafi Smriti T-20 Gold Cup Cricket Tournament-2025 has begun amid festivity at Parikoda Nayantara High School ground in Anwara yesterday.
Rotary Community Core (RCC) Bhingrol organized the tournament sponsored by the Rotary Club of Islamabad, Chittagong .
Mr. Morshed Hossain Chowdhury, Panel Chairman of Parikoda Union Parishad No. 9, inaugurated it where Dr. Rawnak Jahan, Ex-Head of Gynecology Department, Rangamati Medical College Hospital attended as Chief Guest.
Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury, Editor, Dainik Amader Chittagong and President, Bangladesh Editors Forum was the key note speaker while journalist Munir Chy, founding president of Rafi Smriti Patagar and Nurul Kabir, Ctg Bureau Chief of MyTv were present as special guests on the occasion.
Jasim Uddin Chowdhury delivered the welcome speech and RCC President Md. Delwar Hossain presided the event.
‘This tournament will play an important role in the mental and physical development of the youth’, the chief guest said.
Anwara Cricket XI won the opening match by defeating Bhingrol Cricket XI. Both teams showed excellent performance in this exciting game.
