National Public School & College held parents’ meeting, prize-giving ceremony, felicitated luminary and published annual exam results at the institution premises in city’s Bahaddarhat area on Tuesday, December 30, 2025.
Chattogram District Education Officer Md Abdul Aziz attended the event as Chief Guest while publisher-editor of The People’s View, Osman Gani Mansur , also chairman of Chattogram Education and Research Foundation was the keynote speaker.
Besides, educationist Prof. Muhammad Kamruzzaman was guest of honour and director Professor Dr Md Helal Uddin, cardiologist Professor Dr GM Golam Rasul Atik, media personality Shaon Pantho, and Mahbub Morshed Chowdhury ,acting principal of the National Teachers’ Training College were special guests.
Principal, Md Hamid Hossain, chaired the event conducted by teacher Md Humayun Kabir where teacher Mohammad Giasuddin delivered the welcome address and Md Mohiuddin and Md Jahidul Islam spoke on behalf of guardians.
The Chief Guest lauded National Public School & College as an exception and a positive example for the rare event to honour meritorious students in such a comprehensive manner. .
While speaking about the management, Osman Gani Mansur expressed full commitment to transform the institution into one of the leading educational establishments in Chattogram.
Earlier, the house observed mourning over the death of former Prime Minister and BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, offering prayers for her departed soul.
The program ended with felicitation to educationist Professor Muhammad Kamaruzzaman and presentation of awards to the best teachers and students.
