Journalist Imran Amy has been appointed as a member of the swimming sub-committee of the Chattogram District Sports Association (CJKS). He currently serves as a member of the ad-hoc committee of the Anwara Upazila Sports Association.
The appointment was recently approved by CJKS President and Chattogram Deputy Commissioner Farida Khanam.
The newly formed committee is chaired by Sourav Priyo Pal, with former national swimmer Mahbubur Rahman Sagar serving as its secretary.
In addition to his new role, Imran Amy is the general secretary of Anwara Upazila Cricket Academy and the technical advisor of Anwara Football Academy. He is also the former president of Anwara Chhatra Samiti-Chattogram and the current chairman of Anwara Tarun Krira Parishad.
Professionally, Imran Amy is a staff reporter at the national daily Bangladesh Pratidin.
