Tritoronga hosts tea party in honour of Mitul Hoque

Tritoronga, a cultural organisation based in Chattogram, hosted an afternoon tea party  in honour of US-based rock musician Mitul Hoque on Wednesday, December 24, 2025.

Veteran journalist and writer Osman Gani Mansur chaired the event at the organization’s Nasirabad office that brought together poets, artists, academics, and cultural figures, creating an engaging atmosphere of conversation, reflection, and artistic exchange.

Speaking at the programme, Professor Dr Sharif Ashrafuzzaman, Vice-Chancellor of Southern University, congratulated the artist and praised his contribution to contemporary music.

Shawon Pantha, poet and founder-secretary general of Tritoronga, poet Kamrul Alam, poet Swapan Kumar Baidya, poet Ismat Ara Nilima, Subarna Rahman, artist Nasima Akhter Daisy and Monwar Hossain, artist Piyush Chandra Sarker, Shahanur Akter Shanu and dance choreographer Adiba Wadud, among others spoke on the occasion.
