Speakers at Futonto Phul Asor Nazrul Olympiad stressed the need for spreading the message of Kazi Nazrul Islam’s equality and harmony among children and young generation in a bid to build a future of peace and prosperity against today’s society of eroded social values and violence.
They also focused on imbuing children and youth with the ideal and philosophy of the rebel poet Kazi Nazrul Islam to shape a better tomorrow.
Futonto Phul Asor Chattogram Mohanagar, under supervision of director Ariful Islam Irfan, Muhammad Shahin Reza, Saiman Rahman Siam and Nazrul Olympiad coordinator Mujahir Samir, organized the event at Nasirabad Government High School on Saturday.
Students of grades 2 to 10 from various schools and madrasas participated in the event arranged under specific syllabus published by the organization.
Guests including Osman Ghani Mansur, writer, journalist and Vice President of Chattogram Metropolitan Sports Association , Professor Syed Md. Mokhter Uddin, Joysen Bikkshu, .Md. Mohiuddin, adviser of the organization, Prof Kazi Asif Asrafi, Prof Muhammad. Arifuddin, Master Abul Hossain, Principal Muhammad Yunus, Lecturer Rabeya Sultana, Muhammad Nur Raihan Chowdhury among others spoke on the occasion.
Besides Futonto Phul Nazrul Olympiad members including Muhammd Amanat Ullah Oni, Obaidul Muntasir and Ziaul Hoq Shanta were also present.
