“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind are likely at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, at a few places over Dhaka division, and at one or two places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions, with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions,” said a Met Office bulletin.

Day temperature may rise by 1–2 degrees Celsius over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere in the country.

Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The country’s highest temperature was recorded at 34.5 degrees Celsius in Ishwardi upazila in Rajshahi yesterday.
