Jahidul Karim Kochi, Member Secretary of  Chattogram Press Club has strongly condemned  unauthorized use of  club tag  by an individual falsely claiming membership of the organization.

According to a  press release, the person identifying himself as Hannan Rahim Talukdar at a FB post “ Search at hotel in the name of a journalist” with pictures  and details on June 14 in Bahaddarhat area of Chattogram city  introduced himself as a member of the Chattogram Press Club. The matter drew attention after it was widely circulated on social media necessitating criticism.

In response, the Press Club clarified that Hannan Rahim Talukdar is not, and has never been, a member of the Chattogram Press Club. The club has strongly protested the misuse of its name and expressed serious concern over the incident.
