MINISO, a  global lifestyle brand has launched its third outlet in Chattogram, Meridian Kohinoor City in Dampara on Sunday.

The outlet, located on the ground floor of the mall, was inaugurated by BGMEA Director and MINISO Bangladesh Director Shah Rayeed Chowdhury.

The ceremony opened with recitation from the holy Quran and prayers. To mark the opening, MINISO is offering a 20 percent discount to customers at the new store from February 8 to February 10.

Shah Rayeed Chowdhury said that MINISO has gained strong popularity in Bangladesh, similar to many other countries worldwide. He attributed the brand’s success to its good quality, attractive product designs, and affordable pricing that made it a preferred choice among middle- and upper-middle-income consumers.

“MINISO has already built a strong customer base in Chattogram. Considering local demand, we have opened this new outlet” he said, adding that there are plans to open seven more MINISO stores in Chattogram as the company’s second hub in Bangladesh.

Sakif Ahmed Salam, a special guest at the event said he was pleased to see another MINISO outlet open in Chattogram. He expressed hope that the internationally renowned brand would be able to serve local customers more closely and effectively.

Others present on the occasion include MINISO Bangladesh Director Chowdhury Asifuzzaman, franchise partner Tahsin Ferdousi, Mega Mart Managing Director Abdul Hannan, Meridian Group Director Akib Kamal, and Asian Group Director Wasif Ahmed Salam.

MINISO currently operates more than 8,000 stores across 112 countries. The brand began its operations in Bangladesh in 2017, with a mission to deliver quality lifestyle products at affordable prices.
