The government has officially declared February 25 as “National Martyred Soldiers’ Day.” The announcement was made through a circular issued by the Cabinet Division on Sunday, February 23.

The circular, signed by Deputy Secretary Tania Afroz, states that the government has designated February 25 as “National Martyred Soldiers’ Day” to be observed annually. The day will be celebrated under the guidelines of the Cabinet Division’s circular dated October 11, 2024, which includes it as a Category ‘G’ day in the observance of national and international days, except for a government holiday.

The circular also directs all relevant ministries, departments, and agencies to implement this decision properly.
