Eye check-up camp at National Public School and College

An eye examination camp was held at National Public School and College at city’s Bahaddarhat area on Thursday,  The event was organized as part of its regular health check-up program.

Chairman of the governing committee Osman Gani Mansur attended the event as Chief Guest. Principal,Md. Hamid Hossain chaired the event while Head Teacher Mohammad Giasuddin moderated it.

“ Students should take proper care of their health alongside their academic pursuits”, the Chief Guest said.

Other guests present on the occasion include, school Director Mr. Mohammad Anwar Siddique Chowdhury, Ms. Sahela Abedin Rima, social worker Mr. Gias Uddin Bhuiyan, and Lions Club representatives — Lion Abu Bakkar Siddique, Lion Tariq Kamal, Lion Shahidullah, Lion Humaira Islam, Lion Bikiran Rarua, and Lion Sifat Al Monsur.

Organized by courtesy of  Lions Club District 315-B, the camp provided free eye care services to around 300 participants, including students, teachers, and guardians.

Earlier, a moment of silence was observed in memory of those who lost their lives at Milestone School and College in Diabari, Dhaka.

The event concluded with the inauguration of a tree plantation program and distribution of educational materials among students, jointly organized by Lions Club 315-B and Lions Tilottoma.
