Commonwealth Journalist Association (CJA) has planned to hold a conference on the Rohingya refugee situation and the government’s ongoing initiatives by Mid-July or end of July, 2025.
A team led by Secretary General of the CJA Bangladesh Chapter, Osman Gani Mansur met with Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner Mohammed Mizanur Rahman in Cox’s Bazar in this regard.
The Commissioner welcomed the initiative and pledged support to hold the conference successfully.
Earlier, a delegation of CJA called on Faruk E Azam, Bir Protik, Honourable Advisor to the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs and the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, who also assured full support for the event..
