The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has revealed the new jersey for the Bangladesh national cricket team ahead of the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, set to begin on February 19. Bangladesh will play its opening match on the second day of the tournament, February 20.
The BCB unveiled the new jersey through a video posted on social media at around 6:30 PM on Sunday. The jersey features the national team’s iconic red and green colors, with a golden tiger design symbolizing strength and pride.
In the video, the new jersey is proudly worn by Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, pacers Nahid Rana and Taskin Ahmed, leg-spinner Rishad Hossain, and all other members of the squad, which includes a total of 15 players.
Bangladesh’s first match of the tournament will take place in Dubai against India on February 20. Following that, they will face New Zealand on February 24 and host nation Pakistan on February 27 to conclude their group stage matches.
For the first time in an ICC event, the Champions Trophy will be broadcast digitally. Fans will be able to watch live coverage on 16 feeds in 9 different languages, including English, Bengali, Hindi, Marathi, Haryanavi, Bhojpuri, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. The event will be available to viewers in 12 countries and regions.
