Childhood cancer service organization, Children Leukemia Assistance and Support Services (CLASS) distributed Eid gifts, new clothes and cash among cancer patients undergoing treatment at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) yesterday. CLASS Chairman Osman Gani Mansur, Director Finance Shafiqul Alam Khan, Director Dr. Rawnak Jahan and CLASS Supervising executive Abdul Motaleb were present on the occasion. It is noteworthy that since 1999, CLASS has been tirelessly continuing various activities for the service and welfare of cancer children in Chittagong. Almost 70 percent of children die prematurely due to limited and highly expensive treatment for childhood cancer.
