The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has issued arrest warrants for nine individuals, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, in connection with the alleged mass killing at Shapla Chattar on May 5, 2013.
The other individuals named in the case are former Home Minister Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir, ex-Gonojagoron Mancha spokesperson Imran H. Sarker, former Inspector General of Police Benazir Ahmed, and Hasan Mahmud Khondkar.
Among the accused, Ziaul Ahsan, Tuku, and four others are currently in custody, while the remaining individuals are still at large.
